These 8 tiny reindeer, new in their original box, (1 1/4" high), so lively and quick are brought to you from Story Book Lane's "The Night Before Christmas." This is a first edition figurine and one of only 5,000 from 1990 produced by Goebel and brought to life by Robert Olszewski. This is an extra that may start your collection or help to fill it. These figurines are started from a plaster mold using the ancient lost wax process. Over 50 steps later the finished product emerges. The artwork including sculpting and painting on bronze is extremely beautiful and detailed which makes the Olszewski miniatures by Goebel so highly prized. This piece originally listed for 110.00.
