This is the rare miniature Flower Boy progressive stick set with five pieces depicting the lost wax process for producing miniature figurines. This set is encased in a beautiful blue velvet lined wooden box. The five stages of the wax process being shown are:

3.The Bronze Casting Primed for Decorating
4.The Figurine During Process in the Decorating Studio
5.The Finished Art Object
A series of 12 limited edition miniature figurines and 2 pendants were produced during the time period of 1985 to 1987 at which time production ended and all were designated as “retired”. The Flower Boy process stick set with five pieces depicting the lost wax process and encased in a wooden box was produced in 1985 with a total estimated production of 240 sets per the olszewskistudios.com.
The De Grazia design, 502-P, was the only De Grazia miniature process stick produced.
The Flower Boy measures only 7/8th of an inch in height.
