This trunk has a drop dead beautiful doll who was made by artisan Kate Forrest of Nashville.
She has blue eyes, rose bud lips, and blushed cheeks. No one can paint like Kate. Her little hands are blushed and her nails are pink. She has curly ginger colored hair.
She was a teacher for Seeley's Doll Company and when she found miniatures she used all her skills from teaching porcelain dolls in a larger scale to make incredible miniature dolls.
She was in our miniature club and gifted this doll to Pat Steele and I bought Pat's miniature estate.
Pat used this doll in a travel trunk and she made lots of clothes to hang inside it.
She has a coat of gray velvet with dark blue trim and a coat of pink velvet with a darling bonnet.
She has a black and white dress with an apron and white lace.
She has a yellow cotton print dress with a gathered bottom and pretty white bows at the sleeves and white trim up the front.
There is a darling little white dress with yellow tiny rose buds and scalloped insertion with yellow thread run through it.
All of these hang on little hangers. The name "MiMi" is on the trunk as well as embellishments.
She has a hat box with another bonnet and roller skates.
The dress she has on is an adorable pink and white dress with silk ribbon and bows.
Location Guide: in the dollmakers room.
