by Reneé Derra. This little hutch was designed by friends from Italy....the little terra cotta planter was also from Italy and Reneé painted it and made the plant from a wire kit by Karen Scully. Reneé painted the Virgin Mother from a metal piece she found in an estate the shop purchased. The wine bottle has wine in it. She rimmed the wine glasses with gold and put them on a brass tray from GAF. Then she found the lovely decals to apply to the plates while in Sturbridge and painted over them and rimmed them with gold, and applied triple glaze to get the shine she wanted. There is antique painted lace for a runner and a Beth Hamilton woven basket on the top. The drawer on the left opens to a complete set of painted flatware. There is a tiny picture of papa on top of some books. Reneé has added some German gold embossing pieces for accent and then antiqued over them.
This piece has a very old world look and is ready to hang on a wall..
