This young lady was made by doll artisan Mary Carl Roberts. Mary Carl sew every stitch of clothing on her dolls.
The doll was made by Kate Forrest and has the most lovely face, every lash is perfect!
She has brown glass eyes and rosy cheeks. Her brows are feathered in a medium brown. Kate is a doll artisan from Seeley's and I have never seen anyone paint dolls better than her. And no one can costume one better than Mary Carl.
She has little white leather shoes over her socks. She is wearing white pantaloons under her double gathered french skirt which is edged in pink lace. She has tiny tucks running around the top and bottom layers of the skirt. She has a blue best with ragland sleeves. She has a matching turned up straw hat in the French Fashion. She is wearing her pearl necklace and a brooch on the jacket. She has a beautiful array of cork curls around her neck. You will not find a better doll than this little porcelain beauty. She is six inches tall which is slightly larger than doll house scale.
