Antique Simon & Halbig Lady #2 mc524x

5-1/2" tall. This lady is from a special sculpt by the German company Simon & Halbig called "Little Women." This doll retains her original body and wig. The arms and legs are half porcelain with the rest of her body being stuffed cloth. Her shoes are painted brown 2-strap with heels. She has a shoulderhead, incised 9/0 on the front, and S&H//1160 on the back. She has inset brown glass eyes. Her blond hair is arranged in the typical style for this model doll with ringlets on each side and a braided bun in the back. The clothing may or may not be original but it is certainly old and is mostly hand-stitched. It consists of a very fine pale green linen dress trimmed at neck and hem, with white petticoat and drawers. She seems to be in perfect condition and just looking for a new dollhouse to call home!
