About the painting

These paintings are the size of baseball cards 2.5x3.5 inches mind are painted on matte board.   I start painting on location, and turned them in to larger finished painting in the studio. They are my first step in the creative process. The ones I like best (like this one) get turned into finished finished paintings.   My paintings are of the Shawnee National Forrest and Southern Illinois.

He is a professional artist since 2011 I having sold over 2,300 paintings. He is a recent graduate of Southern Illinois University with a BFA in painting. His work is held in  private collections around the world, and in cooperate collections in the Midwest.  He has been blessed with wonderful collectors that have allowed him to paint every day for a living. He is represented by Ant Hill Galleries in Cobden Il.
