This mold could have been one of Joan Benzel's as she sure looks like her dolls.
Very delicate and small. Renee painted a beautiful face and hair on this doll. You could also wig her but I love the blond painted hair. The is an antique reproduction doll in porcelain.
It is hard to find porcelain dolls because the art of pouring and painting and firing porcelain is not being taught much anymore.
Renee' has over eight hundred miniature dolls, dishes, and figurine molds-some from her work and some from other people. She puts these kits together and if no one buys them and she has time she starts dressing them and sells them in her shop. If you like to dress dolls then you will not find prettier faces and more variety than here.
She has a nice upper body so she can wear a low cut blouse or dress if you like. She has textured hose but I left the shoes blank so you can paint them any color you like. Use acrylic paint and then use gloss sealer.
Put in comment box if you want a how to put the body together guide and I will make a copy and send it.
