This one-of-a-kind "beautiful chocolate-maker" is made of porcelain and exquisitely hand-painted. She is based on the Old Master pastel on parchment picture of "The Chocolate Girl of Vienna" by artist Jean-Etienne Liotard in 1744-1745 and housed in the collection of the Gemaldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden Germany. The details of her outfit are so special--a rust silk blouse and olive green silk skirt with muslin apron and a silk, lace and ribbon hat covers her hair. Even her shoes are made of silk! She is holding a tin of chocolates. She has been photographed from the side view for you to see the likeness to the original artwork. A copy of the original artwork is also shown. 6"H. 1:12 scale.
