LBmed-16 Book of Hours - Florence 1490

This is a miniature reproduction containing selected pages from a Book of Hours written and illuminated in Florence, Italy, in the 1490s. It was made for a member of the Pitti-Taddei de Gaddi family. It consists of 35 pages printed on presentation quality 24 pound parchment paper. The covers are printed on 20 pound acid free 92 brightness 25% cotton bond paper bound over 110 pound cardstock to maintain the proper scale. The books are constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques developed for miniature books. These miniature books are not intended for children and are not toys.
