Our meetings are held on the second Friday of each month here at the Miniature Cottage, and are limited to 8 participants.
Hello Mini Makers:
It’s time for our monthly meeting, and we’re ready for another fun-filled day of tiny creativity and a surprise (read below in red)!
This month, we’ll be exploring techniques and items related to the 4th of July and America’s 250th Birthday (see attached picture below). Please note that the attached photo is for staging inspiration only as everything pictured will not be made in class, i.e. the gazebo, bicycle, and flowers, but it gives you a fun peek at the kind of festive miniature magic we’ll be making.
What’s on the agenda:
You’ll want to sign up quickly, because our seats fill up fast. Summer is here, which means more people are able to join us, especially for the early class.
OH, and surprise! News Channel 5 will be with us in our morning class! They are going to be doing a little piece on our club to air for Nashville to see! You'll want to come and be a part of that! Your participation in that would be amazing!
Since our class times run across lunch and dinner hours, please feel free to bring something to eat or snack on. You’re also welcome to bring a drink, but please make sure it’s in a sealable container with a closable lid. We love a good beverage, but we do not want any miniature mishaps or tiny flood zones!
We’ll have all the supplies you’ll need for class. If you’d like to bring some of your own tools, you’re welcome to do so. Just be sure to mark them clearly so they make it back home with you.
NOTE: Go ahead and mark your calendar for next month’s meeting on July 10th! We will be making flowers in July’s meetings, and I know many of you have been patiently waiting for the flower classes! You can sign up for the July classes (morning and afternoon) anytime AFTER the June class is over.
Please reach out to us with any questions. We can’t wait to make miniatures with you!
