These sweet little baskets were hand woven by a woman from Charleston. 

The worry baskets are made to be hung on a wall. The story goes, these is no point at the bottom of the basket because there is no point in worrying. Hang outside the living quarters . Fill with dry grass, leaves, or herbs- this symbolizes worries and problems. People passing the WORRY BASKET take a pinch of the dried material, crumple and throw away. All worries and prolems evaporate into the feathe-air, shell= water and stone=earth.
